BTW, can't the fonts be a bit smaller?
Just realized that this technical doodad isn't just for a deviation upload.
Grand Theft Serks - T-A-Y FC Contest by DJ-SMITH
Grand Theft Serks - T-A-Y FC Contest
Okay, what are the rules again?

So I was highly interested in participating in a contest at this awesome group :iconteh-akuma-yoru-fc:. This is the second time I participate in a contest in deviantArt (the first one was a literature contest). I admit I took a long time in the process, but hell, I was having (some) fun.

The rule was to define what game and what scene, so here goes.

The game was Grand Theft Auto V which was released for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC recently (YES YORU I HAVE AN XBOX NOW) and the scene was none other than... no scene.

Honestly, there is no such scene in the game - a lot scenes actually may resemble this piece, but most of the time in the story when the three protagonists get together, its either they get such a short screen time, having costumes that are too plain to draw, and so on. The most resembling scene in the game may be that one mission in which Michael, Trevor and Franklin bust out the securicar (forgot the name of the mission, sorry) but in the game they were wearing masks and boiler suits (what's the point of having Yoru and his friends covered by masks and those plain boiler suits?). In the end, I had to alter some of the background, the clothes, and the protagonists of course.

but I still think the background still resemble the original scene in the game~

So we have an entry: Yoru De Santa, Dei Phillips. and Jake Clinton.

Grand Theft Auto (c) 2013 Rockstar Games.
Aww Dude/Serks is a product by Akuma Yoru, usage of any characters had the sole intention for contest purposes only.

Hey there, it's me again, who else? :iconyoudontsayplz:

Pop quiz coming through: "What happens to a human being who likes to draw, yet college and internship become the chains that binded him?"

No, seriously, three guesses what. :iconmingplz:

:bulletblue: So yeah, even as I write this journal, I'm still in internship program (in a bank!) which is a necessity to apply a thesis, which is mandatory for graduation from college. I would like to draw more and more, but that's not possible right now. Do you know how difficult it is to draw at the office without your boss noticing it? And possibly chew you out for neglecting your work? Or worse, he requested a drawing because he was impressed? Not gonna happen.:bulletblue:

:bulletorange: I actually had some sketches on work. I plan to seriously work again on them by the next week, had my internship report submitted by Monday next week. :bulletorange:

:bulletred: I did 4 pages of Project: Crimson! Dear sir :iconommouthu:, you can note me to see the progress! NO texts yet, though. :bulletred:

:bulletgreen: Several of my junior and one of my classmate requested me to make an education comic about psychology. It was a product created by the competing teams in a creative event for undergraduate student held in local scale. I wasn't a part of the team or the competition whatsoever, they just requested me because they didn't know anyone else who can draw. But, despite all odds, the team I helped made it through the national scale event! All hail The Great DJ-SMITH! *cough* Oh, if you wonder, I was being paid. I should be paid. But not yet... but soon. Real soon. Or else. :bulletgreen:

:bulletyellow: My last statement regarding the psychology comic is one of the most significant reason of why I couldn't upload much to deviantArt. The deadline was short and drawing 30 pages while facing exams and tasks is nearly inhumane:bulletyellow:

:bulletpurple: I know I still owe some people a request, postponed for MORE THAN A YEAR. I'll post them here when I have more time. :bulletpurple:

Regards, DJ-SMITH

You're welcome.

Say, can you watch me back? I'm interested in this division of yours in #Canvas-rangeR, and quite recently (in fact) I've been watching the other member of it as well.

It's just awesome to be in the group, but I can't join due to the member allowance notifications. I'm quite interested to do some art trade with your CR-division, like I did with fellow member ~OmMouthu, that's why I ask for your permission.

It's also good to know some other Indonesian fellow as well.

Regards, ~SMITH

wow, it's great to know that other people were interested in our division, thanks again! :XD: and it's okay if you want to do an art trade, feel free to ask me :)
yep, nice to meet you, too ;) and I think #Canvas-rangeR might open a new member join request again soon, since Team F just formed, just like they usually did back then :)
