Hey there, it's me again, who else?
Pop quiz coming through: "What happens to a human being who likes to draw, yet college and internship become the chains that binded him?
No, seriously, three guesses what.
So yeah, even as I write this journal, I'm still in internship program (in a bank!) which is a necessity to apply a thesis, which is mandatory for graduation from college. I would like to draw more and more, but that's not possible right now. Do you know how difficult it is to draw at the office without your boss noticing it? And possibly chew you out for neglecting your work? Or worse, he requested a drawing because he was impressed?
Not gonna happen.
I actually had some sketches on work. I plan to seriously work again on them by the next week, had my internship report submitted by Monday next week. I did 4 pages of Project: Crimson!
, you can note me to see the progress! NO texts yet, though.
Several of my junior and one of my classmate requested me to make an education comic about psychology. It was a product created by the competing teams in a creative event for undergraduate student held in local scale. I wasn't a part of the team or the competition whatsoever, they just requested me because they didn't know anyone else who can draw. But, despite all odds
, the team I helped made it through the national scale event!
All hail The Great DJ-SMITH! *cough
* Oh, if you wonder, I was being paid. I should be paid
. But not yet... but soon. Real soon. Or else.
My last statement regarding the psychology comic is one of the most significant reason of why I couldn't upload much to deviantArt. The deadline was short and drawing 30 pages while facing exams and tasks is nearly inhumane
I know I still owe some people a request, postponed for MORE THAN A YEAR
. I'll post them here when I have more time.
